2024 was an exciting year for our 'Plenty' series, and we’re kicking off this new year with something special – Plenty Everything which went into tank last week. This project has been a labour of love, starting back in March last year, and it’s grown into something that we’re incredibly proud of.
We started this journey with Plenty Citra, a DIPA that perfectly showcased the bold, vibrant burst of tropical fruits that Citra hops are so famous for. With flavours of mango, passion fruit, and grapefruit, this beer quickly became a fan favourite, and it didn’t take long for it to rise to the top as one of the most popular releases of the year.
Next, we dove into something new with Plenty Kohia Nelson – our first-ever experiment with the exciting Kohia Nelson hop. This DIPA was packed with intense passionfruit and lime, complemented by unique white wine and herbal aromas. It was big, punchy, and full of flavour, making it an unforgettable addition to the series.
Then, we took on New Zealand’s Motueka hop with Plenty Motueka, creating a DIPA that balanced citrusy and tropical notes in a way we knew you’d love. We were thrilled with how it turned out, and we think you were too!
Finally, to round off the year, we brought back one of our all-time favourites here at Floc. – Nelson Sauvin. Known for its signature white wine and tropical fruit characteristics, this hop became the heart of a rich, flavourful DIPA. We packed as much Nelson Sauvin as we could into this beer, and it turned out to be one of the most delicious creations of the year.
As a tribute to all these fantastic beers, we’ve decided to unite them in one harmonious brew – Plenty Everything, which will be released towards the end of January. This DIPA is designed to showcase all the best qualities of these incredible hops, coming together to create the perfect balance of flavours. It’s a true celebration of the hops that made our Plenty series so memorable.
But don’t worry, this isn’t the end of the Plenty journey. We have many more exciting releases coming your way throughout the year, and we’re eager to share even more incredible hop-driven beers with you.
